PLEASE NOTE THIS SURVEY IS NOW CLOSED Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey This Costs of International Arbitration Survey is collecting information on the costs of international commercial arbitration proceedings. The aim is to gather data which will inform parties, legal representatives, and arbitrators about the overall costs of international commercial arbitration. It is also gathering data about how those costs are made up, the allocation of costs by arbitrators and the extent to which these may depend upon the nature of the dispute, the seat of arbitration, the amount in dispute, the composition of the arbitral tribunal and the costs incurred prior to, and during, the arbitration. The findings will be analysed and disseminated through a report and a conference, organised by CIArb, which will take place on 27 – 28 September 2011 in London, England. Information for participants in the survey You are invited to complete this simple questionnaire. To take part, you should either be a legal representative (including in house counsel) or a member of an arbitral tribunal. By taking part in the survey, you will be eligible for a discount* on tickets to the Costs of International Arbitration Conference in September 2011 and will receive a copy of the completed survey results. We are seeking as many contributions to this survey as possible, and would therefore appreciate information on any international commercial arbitrations in which you have been involved. If you have information on more than one arbitration, please complete a separate questionnaire for each arbitration. There is no limit to the number of questionnaires you may complete.
